POOLS Desktop FAQ

Game is slow / lagging
Game can be quite demanding graphics-wise, but in the settings menu (cogwheel) there are several settings that increase graphics performance:
  • "resolution" to lower, for example 3840x2160 -> 1920x1080
  • "image-upscaling" to "FSR" (or "DLSS" also works if you have it available)
  • "lighting quality" to "none"/"low"
  • "reflection quality" to "off"/"low"
  • "anti-aliasing" to "off"
I get only black screen
  • Try including this in command line arguments / launch options: -force-gfx-direct
  • Ensure your OS is up-to-date
  • Re-install the game
  • If you can access settings menu, turn motion blur ON
